About Us

We are dedicated to providing legal representation to corporations, businesses, and the risk industry.  Robert T Varney & Associates is at 205 N Main Street in Bloomington, Illinois.  Our offices easily cover the Central Illinois region, focusing on the middle third of the State of Illinois, south of Interstate 80 and north of Interstate 70.  We are willing to serve the needs of our clients throughout the State of Illinois.  Mr. Varney is licensed to practice in the Northern, Central, and Southern United States District Courts.  We have represented clients as far north as Rockford, Illinois, and south as Metropolis, Illinois.

The central location of Bloomington-Normal, including the crossroads of three interstate highways, allows us to efficiently handle cases in Peoria, Springfield, Decatur, Champaign, Danville, and Pontiac, Illinois.

Robert T Varney
Attorney

Robert Varney grew up in a small farming community in central Illinois. He has also lived and practiced law in Chicago. Because of this, he understands both rural and urban communities, courtrooms, and businesses.

Mary Tallon
Attorney

Mary Tallon was born and raised in McLean County and returned to Central Illinois after attending law school in Chicago. Before entering law school, she worked as a journalist for several years. She applies her keenly developed writing skills and analytical thinking to her advocacy on behalf of the individuals and businesses she represents.

Anna Calvert
Attorney

Anna Calvert grew up in central Illinois and attended college in Bloomington-Normal. Prior to attending law school, she completed her masters in the arts. She combines her creative thinking with her legal reasoning to be the best advocate for her clients.
